Banksia Cafe Cook/ Chef
Requirements and attributes:

Proven experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment;

Qualified chef or have a minimum of 3 years working as a cook in a commercial kitchen;

Sound knowledge of food preparation and cooking styles;
-
Understanding of Smart Choices;
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
-
Excellent organisational and time management abilities;
-
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with both employees and volunteers;
-
Always maintain an elevated level of personal and professional presentation;
-
Ability to work with minimum supervision;
-
Current and valid Working with Children Blue Card (Paid Employee) or be eligible to apply for one; and
-
Food Safety Handling Certificate or be willing to engage in completing course.

In the Banksia Café, we pride ourselves on providing nutritious and wholesome food to our school community. We have a brand new commercial kitchen to work in.
